Sorry I was responding to the post directly above me for farming pools. I am just not finding chaos plains to be worth it. They have the same drop rate as smites but take a lot longer. You would be better off just farming pools and pits instead.

EDIT: Hex breaker isn't an issue, 48 damage in HM every 8 seconds or 32 damage every 15 in NM.

i havent tried it for pools yet, i just naturally choose sliver because then you have much less trouble killing the charged blacknesses and skeletons of dhuum.

More on the actual topic of the A/D:

Would HM be a possibility? AFAIK (From my own UW experience) mobs die alot faster in HM, but obviously have that +7 regen, which can be easily circumvented. I think the Mindblade's health get severely reduced (by several 100 hitpoints) in return for 7 hp regen, so if you can kill them fast enough (which is the goal of a farm), a HM farm would in fact be faster than a NM one.

Edit:

I barely every play SF sin, let alone PvE, but I don't see a reason why this wouldn't kill them really fast:

Requires that 25% Recharge con.

[1 – A/D Unnamed paw·ned² character;Owpl8xqXauajDpzcAVDiJKdVuhgddB]

or

[2 – A/D Unnamed paw·ned² character;Owpl8xqUauijDpzcAVDiJKd5cpdldB]

The first one would rely on Pious Assault dealing 22 AoE damage every 4 seconds, aswell as maintaing bleeding (to offset some of the regen), aswell as have Whirling charge pump an additional +-25 damage (after cracked armor) every 6 seconds. Going by rough calculations, ignoring scythe damage, this should do about 15 DPS to all adjacent mindblades. Not spectacular, but getting there.

The second one works similar, only relies on the chaining of Pious Assault => Reap Impurities. Since you've got a Flash Echant available every 3 seconds, you should be able to hit your stuff on recharge, and thus do about:

+- 20 earth damage every 6 seconds per flash
- 22 damage every 4 seconds
- 28*3 damage every 4 seconds.

=> 398 damage every 12 seconds, or about 33 DPS, a very reasonable number, definatly more than the old farm. Concidering blades offset 14 DPS, you're left with 19 DPS, which equals a permanent -10 regen on them, which was more than what the Lava Font farmer did, on top of their lowered total HP.

I might be missing something here, and I don't have a PvE assassin myself to test it out, but that looks like a pretty solid farm.

They scatter from Reap Impurities? That would strike me as odd :s

What if you lower your HP similar to the the way the old farm worked? Aka, lower your hp to +- 20%, would that stop scatter?

Well, there must be other ways. If they scatter with this build, they'll scatter with any other build aswell...

Why is it even they're scattering?

Maybe it's because you used 2 flash enchants in a row, as opposed to waiting 3 seconds between every flash?

Crippling victory and reap impurities alone would kill faster. You can also take EVAS for the dream riders. The last skill could be anything you wanted.

Possibly, or just a bug from when they were switched from melee to ranged.

So the reasoning here is Signet of Mystic Speed is supposed to facilitate the farming of mindblades because it causes your enchantments to instacast, nullifying Leech Signet's ability to interrupt them. What I don't get is, what prevents the mindblades from using Leech Sig on SoMS? It has a one second activation time after all.

Presumably AI only uses it on spells. Makes some sense since that's the only way it gains energy.

this has been here since the dervish update if I'm right. And it doesn't look closely as efficient as the A/E lava front build. You could do that blind, a run took like 20 mins, this looks way longer.

+ skelly's are in the way of many patrols I heard.

I've done it out of boredom a couple of times.
Really slow, and they scatter.
It works, but I think even spirit spammer is faster.

You are so far off topic and clueless it's actually very very amusing. Thanks for the laughs at your expense.
